How to Start a Blogger for Free with Get Organic Traffic in No Time| Niche Case Study

As some of you already know: I'm creating s case study with free Blogspot site. The goal is start from scratch and grow into a feasible online resource. Meaning zero startup money for a custom domain, or paid hosting.

The point I'm hoping to drive home; is that you can create a steady income stream; starting from humble beginnings.

All you need is willpower, digital marketing skills, a few free resources and consistent effort.

Calculate The Challenges Of Creating A Profitable Free Blogger on Blogspot:

Think of it as going on a backpacking journey to another Country; with no money. Realistically it won't be an easy task.

That's why it's very important to be honest with yourself from the beginning. Because you're sure to come across many challenges on your journey.

And if you didn't realistically measure you strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; beforehand. You're more likely to lose heart and fold up.

The Problems Of Generating Income From Free Websites Are?

People don't take free sites seriously. They think if the owner took his/her business seriously in the first place.

He/she would first invest in himself/herself before expecting others to do it.

That's why a custom domain and paid hosting always makes a good first impression.

What have I gotten myself into? Anyways let's measure the:

Pros And Cons Of A Free Blogger Site:

Which do we calculate first the good or the bad? I like to focus on strengths more that weaknesses, so here goes. Pros:

1. Free Unlimited Blog Hosting:
Even if I later upgrade to a custom domain, Blogger never push users to paid hosting options like other competitors. They offer you unlimited free hosting as long as they exist.
2. Unlimited Disc Space And Bandwidth:
They don't monopolize space or bandwidth to upsell alternative packages; like free WordPress competitors.
3. Their Uptime Is 99.9%
Blogspot is owned by Google and therefore use their datacenters. Meaning they're less likely to experience downtime like their smaller rivals.
4. They Allow Adsense, Affiliate Marketing And Other Earning Opportunities:
This is one of the Main reasons why I chose them, because many Others like WordPress don't allow Adsense.
5. Their Web Security Is Tops
They don't offer access to many third parties like WordPress developers. The more external people and software allowed on any system, weakens it's security.

Compare the concept of online security to your home. The more strangers or people that walks in and out of it.

The more likely is it vulnerable to threats such as: WiFi password leaks, theft, privacy exposure and so on.

Cons:
1. You Need Some Coding Skills:
Since Blogger don't allow vendors or many third-party developers. They don't have many beautiful templates and plugins like WordPress. So you have to learn basic HTML, CSS and coding, to improve your blog's appearance and SEO.
2. Manual functionality
It's less user-friendly than WordPress. Considering the fact that's it's not just plug and play. You actually have to become the web designer, SEO specialist. As a result you have to learn new coding skills and work two times harder than a WordPress owner.

By Looking At The Above You Can Now See; It's Not Going To Be An Easy Task.

1. To make it work! You must have an attractive niche blog, with at least 500+ to 1000+ highly targeted daily visits; to make it feasible or a substantial Affiliate sales

2. On the other hand; you even need more interested daily visitors; to generate enough Adsense revenue.

You can aim for +/- 30 000+ page views monthly; in order to make a substantial amount of click-through rates.

4. You also need to make a good first impression with your blog to qualify for a Google AdSense account.

In some Countries your site must be older than 6 months before applying for Google Blogger publisher.

The program is currently in beta and it only consider the applications of sites with English (US) content.

So I created this camping Blogger back in 2018, with 22 articles of low quality content. I didn't think much of it and went on to create another 5 other Bloggers in different niches.

Now Blogger is an online blogging platform that is owned by Google. Blogger lets you publish your blog on the internet and is very easy to use. But they also allows you to create more than one site.

If you're a beginner or a failed Blogger, you would know how we tend to create a blog today, all fired up! Only to forget about it in a few days.

Then some circumstances like unemployment or retrenchment triggers us to try again, just to give up again! And so we tend to spam free hosting sites with many unfinished projects.

Anyways after rinsing and repeating for many years. I finally did some professional affiliate training course. And eventually created a blog that ACTUALLY got real traffic and made a few dollars on Adsense.

I actually learnt a thing or two about keywords, organic traffic, sales funnels and so on.

Long story short; I embarked on this journey to monetize a free Blogger to inspire others that are stuck in the process of unfinished projects.

I decided to use Blogger as it's the first platform where I actually earned something; although it wasn't that mind blowing amounts. It was enough to give me confidence.

So while deciding on a niche for my new case study. I somehow took a walk down memory lane and browsed through my old blogger sites.

To my surprise my old outdoor camping site was still receiving 5 organic visits from Google search after so many years.

Astounded by this unexpected results, I decided to use the same free Blogspot hosted site for my case study.

In this case I'm in the process of updating all my older posts, while writing new articles. Already my traffic levels are increasing; I didn't register with Adsense or signed up any Affiliate programs yet.

As I'm hoping to reach at least 200 -300 daily visits. I will not reveal the URL or domain name just yet.

As I don't want to skew the traffic levels. Until I really found traction. So please bear with me if I'm not updating this blog as frequently as possible.

Since this new outdoor camping case study project requires my undecided love and attention. Please bookmark this page to stay updated on my progress.

In Summary:

Zero Capital Startups can use free Bloggers as a entry level model. Which is still very popular for earning money by using Google AdSense; which places advertisements on their site.

Scale up to a custom domain, which you can finance with your first few earnings. Grow into a paid authority site as you gain traction.

Besides business is about Growth and reaching your full potential, sustainability and spreading your wings.

Earnings are based on the number of impressions, clicks, and conversions. That's why high volumes of targeted traffic is mandatory. You can also monetize their blogs with affiliate links, or other third-party advertising networks (aside from Google).

Blogger from Google is a free blogging platform that helps you earn income by monetizing your blog faster.

While other free website services are only meant to give you user experience.

Since they don't allow much freedom for making money, unless you subscribe to their paid packages. Meaning their unpaid options is only a sales magnet.

Another plus I'd that it'ss easy to start with Blogger, but you must be prepared to learn a few coding skills. However, you can create a blog in less than 5 minutes and start earning money in less than 3 months; if you know what you're doing.
